November eNews | National Diabetes Month Celebration

I love November for so many reasons.

The fall colors make us stop in our tracks to enjoy a moment of awe. Hearing the geese overhead, nosily announcing their long journey south and spending time with family and friends.

PLUS, I love celebrating National Diabetes Month and World Diabetes Day on November 14th, which is Dr. Banting’s Birthday.

This year is super SPECIAL since we get to commemorate the 100th year birthday of the discovery of insulin!

We are celebrating in the best way possible. We are offering 3 free webinars, free purple tote bags, and PocketCards for anyone who purchases books or teaching tools, plus we are taking 25% off ALL of our online courses on Cyber Monday on November 29th.

We also have put together some great articles on the discovery of insulin and exciting new advances in Type 1 Diabetes, along with our Question of the Week and our annual 10 Strategies to Survive the Holidays Handout.

We are giddy with gratitude this November and we want to pass along our joy and appreciation to YOU.

Feedback from a recent participant: “This Webinar New Horizon is filled with Bev’s energy, knowledge, and passion for diabetes that she replicates in all her teachings. She puts a demand on herself to be a mentor to all. Her information is well organized, full of current/relevant research, and helps CDCES’ * view into future as a changing world impacts diabetics.
