In this one-day conference, we will review the latest medications used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, discuss how to calculate insulin doses for patients including those on insulin pumps, and discuss management strategies for patients with difficult-to-control diabetes (both Type 1 and 2) and discuss how childhood experiences impact management of health.

Who Should Attend?

This activity is designed for individuals or groups of diabetes educators, including but not limited to, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, physicians, physician assistants, social workers and other health care providers interested in staying up to date on current practices of care for their patients with diabetes and other related conditions.

How to register:

• Registration: Click here for the Registration link: Non-ADCES members will have to create an account on our website in order to register. Register by October 14, 2022. There are a limited number of seats available so register early.
• Fees: ADCES members $175 and non-ADCES members $200. 

Accreditation: Approved for 7.0 CE credits for nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, physicians, physician assistants and social workers (see additional details on page 2 of the flyer).

Requirements for Successful Completion:  Participants should try to be in attendance for all three webinars, complete and submit the program evaluation at the conclusion of each webinar.  Partial CE hours (2.25 CE hours) can be awarded per webinar if participants complete and submit the program evaluation.  The three webinars will be recorded for later viewing. For those who can’t attend a live session, you will have the option to earn CEs for an additional discounted fee through DiabetesEd Services.
