This course highlights the latest American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Standards for preventing and managing CardioRenal disease.  Dr. Isaacs kicks off the content highlighting the importance of protecting kidney function along with cardiovascular risk reduction. She discusses of identification and prevention of cardiovascular disease through pharmacologic and lifestyle interventions. A detailed review of medication therapy to treat hyperlipidemia and hypertension is included.
