Additional Resources

Gender Inclusive Language Handout – This course was originally titled “Women & Diabetes” and as an effort to use more gender-inclusive language we have decided to change the title the “Pregnancy & Diabetes.” We recognize that not all pregnant people are women and we want to include trans men and gender non-conforming people in our work. We are still learning how to use more gender-inclusive language and we know that changing the language we use is always a process. We found a great handout from Trans Care BC to help us with ways to adopt gender-inclusive language that we wanted to share with you.
